Sarah and Chris drew inspiration from the enchanting allure of the Florida Keys and the timeless elegance of Gone with the Wind, yet sought to forgo a traditional destination wedding due to the attendance of over 100 guests. As a result, we selected a vintage mansion nestled near downtown Austin, offering a picturesque backdrop for the ceremony, framed by majestic oak trees that provided a soft, natural canopy of shade. The cocktail hour unfolded by the pool, evoking a subtle tropical atmosphere, complete with whimsical floating balloons that drifted gracefully upon the water’s surface.

The seating assignment table was inspired by the bride’s heritage, with delicate golden cranes symbolizing 'happiness,' a thoughtful tribute to her family’s roots in Hong Kong. Inside, the reception was transformed into a lush, immersive experience, with towering floral arrangements creating a jungle-like ambiance. The custom bar layout was a striking centerpiece of the reception space, complemented by a secret mezcal bar, offering a unique experience for guests.
